The 411


In this workshop, you will receive The 411 on the world of wigs, hairpieces and facial hair.  Students will learn the following vital information and skills that are necessary for working with wigs.

    • different types of hair
    • foundations
    • construction methods
    • various hair prep techniques depending on length and volume
    • proper handling
    • application methods
    • securing with pinning, taping and gluing techniques
    • thoughtful removal process
    • handling a microphone, placement and pinning
    • vocabulary terms

Hands On: Students will prep hair, apply a lace front wig and remove it.



All workshops are held currently at Molly’s home work space. You will receive the address once you have signed up for your workshop.

Workshop Hours:

10:00 a.m. to 2:oo p.m.

The end time may change depending on how quickly the student is able to understand the material and content.

Class Size:

1-on-1 instuction is provided at this time.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Cancellation Policy:

Wig Workshop-PDX require one week notice via email for a full refund.. After this time, you will only receive a 50% refund. Credit or transfers will be issued for any cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the date of the workshop.  Learn more about our policies .

If you contact us after the 48 hour cancellation deadline or simply do not show up, unfortunately we cannot issue a refund or credit.

Wig Workshop-PDX reserves the right to cancel a workshop at any time for reasons such as low registration or inclement weather. In the event Wig Workshop-PDX cancels a class, you will be issued a full refund.
