The Tool Kit


In this workshop, students will learn the skills for the beginning stages of building a custom wig. We will cover the following:

      • tools and supplies
      • vocabulary terms
      • head wrap
      • taking measurements
      • learning the ventilating stitch and running stich
      • what to look for in a fitting
      • how to make simple alterations
      • repair techniques

Hands On: Students will do a head wrap, take measurements and practice a running stitch with ventilating needle.



All workshops are held currently at Molly’s home work space. You will receive the address once you have signed up for your workshop.

Workshop Hours:

10:00 a.m. to 2:oo p.m.

The end time may change depending on how quickly the student is able to understand the material and content.

Class Size:

1-on-1 instruction is provided at this time.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Cancellation Policy:  We require one week notice via email for a full refund. After this time, you will only receive a 50% refund. Credit or transfers will be issued for any cancellation up to 72 hours prior to the date of the workshop. Learn more about our policies .

If you contact us after the 48 hour cancellation deadline or simply do not show up, unfortunately we cannot issue a refund or credit.

Wig Workshop-PDX reserves the right to cancel a workshop at any time for reasons such as low registration or inclement weather. In the event Wig Workshop-PDX cancels a class, you will be issued a full refund.
